Integra Added to Savant's Excellence in A/V Cooperative Program

Osterville, MA. September, 2008– Savant Systems LLC, having led the convergence of an open architecture platform to integrate automation and control, A/V switching, and general purpose computers, has announced the addition of Integra to their EXCELLENCE IN A/V cooperative program. The EXCELLENCE IN A/V initiative has been targeted to achieve global compatibility between Savant's ROSIE control systems and a diverse group of best-in-class manufacturers from the audio, video, lighting control, HVAC, and security industries, as well as devices and subsystems from many related markets. "Integra is a highly respected brand in the A/V segment of the CEDIA marketplace, and we are pleased that our ROSIE control systems are now fully compatible with this excellent product line," stated Savant president Jim Carroll.

Participation in Savant's EXCELLENCE IN A/V cooperative program will facilitate the seamless integration of Integra's device protocol within the Savant system environment. "Integra products have always been engineered specifically for custom integration with emphasis upon ease of use, integration, and controllability– whether it be IP, RS-232 or IR based," said Brian Sandifer, Integra's product manager. "We are pleased to take part in Savant's Excellence in A/V Program which will help ensure our dealers can seamlessly integrate our products within Savant's groundbreaking control systems, and we will continue to work closely with Savant to offer the best control options for Integra products," Sandifer concluded.

The core of Savant's technology is an open programmable platform supporting UDP/IP, TCP/IP, RS- 232/422/485 and IR serial communication, and Low Voltage Trigger Outputs.
